Worship Time: Out of Season 10:00 AM (April-December)
In Season 8:00am, 9:00am, & 10:45am (January-April)
Worship at The Lighthouse Church of Boca Grande is at the heart of who we are. We seek to worship God in all that we do. What we do on Sundays is an overflowing of our relationship with God. Our worship services are drawn from the rich liturgical tradition of Methodism. The are creative and vibrant.
As with many other Protestants, we recognize the two sacraments in which Christ himself participated: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We practice both adult and infant baptism and baptize a person of any age who has not yet been baptized in a Christian denomination. We share in the Lord’s Supper regularly and consider this a formative time in our community life. We practice "open Communion," welcoming all who love Christ, repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another.
What About My Children?
We welcome children to our worship experiences. In season the older kids grades 5th-8th Sunday school is at 9:00am before the worship service. The K-4th Sunday School class is dismissed after the children's moment. In season, there is a one room Sunday School class for all ages during the 9:00 am worship service after the children's moment.
If, during the service you need a quiet place to take your children, please ask the ushers for directions to the Cry Room, which is accessed through the Fellowship Hall. The service can be seen and heard in the Cry Room, enabling a meaningful experience for guardians and children. We also have a nursery attendant named Abigail Turner. If she isn't in the nursery you can find her helping in the Sunday School room during the service.
