A Christian Tradition
Burial, inurnment, and memorializing in consecrated ground adjacent to one's church has been a custom in Christianity since before the Middle Ages. Increasing urbanization has made it difficult for many churches to acquire and maintain property to continue this tradition. All current members, affiliate members, and their spouses may choose to be inurned and/or memorialized in the Memorial Garden at Lighthouse United Methodist Church.
Planning for your final resting place can provide comfort and relief to your family and loved ones. This opportunity is now available by making arrangements for inturnment and memorializing in the Memorial Garden.
